Once more the armies of the Northern Kingdoms threaten
the Earther Colonies of Refuge. With Armies of
lobotomized War Giants, Fleets of Airships, and millions
of PeaceBringer Slave Soldiers the Northern Kingdoms
have been in a state of Civil War keeping their attention
away from the Colonies for years.
Over the Next 52 Weeks, 1 Earther Year, the Border
Wars will be won or lost by the actions of players around
the world. Some will choose to serve in the armies of the
Northern Kingdoms, hoping to become the future
dictators and rulers of Refuge.
Others will be Freedom Fighters, freeing sections of the
Northern Kingdoms from their tyrants.
A few will be Mercs, selling their services to both sides.
Joining the Border Wars
The Border Wars will be decided by the actions of players around the world. Every Gaming Group that signs up will see their reports
affecting the outcome of skirmishes between the different powers. Dark Refuge Games will post the previous week's results as a
free download every week.
In addition we encourage players to submit their own "Letters from the Border Wars". A one to two page letter from your own
character's point of view of the struggles and horrors of war they have faced. Each week one submission will be chosen and at the
end of the year Dark Refuge Games will be putting together a compilation of the 52 best letters. A perfect opportunity for aspiring
authors, this is your opportunity to be published.
Dark Refuge Games will retain and reserve all rights to any material, fiction or otherwise that is submitted.
